REVIEW

 Jamie Beck writes great emotional stories and Worth the Risk is no exception.  Jackson's story was the one that called to me the most it is obvious from the very beginning that he damaged and not quite ready to face it, but still a good person.  Books so often put characters in boxes, such as "mean alcoholic" or a character who has hit rock bottom before they can see they need help.  Jackson isn't quite at the bottom, and he isn't a terrible person, but he does have flaws.  Pairing him with Gabby, who is the daughter of an alcoholic and drug attic who did hit rock bottom and was mean, made for a great story and conflict and was well done by Beck.

 Overall I recommend this story to anyone who loves a good romance.  Beck does a great job of tackling serious topics while still keeping it somewhat light and optimistic.

MATURITY RATING - 18+ a little steamy
