REVIEW

 I've been reading the Hot series for two years now and I am always waiting for the next installment.  Lynn Raye Harris does a great job of combining action with steamy and sexy romance.  Neither the action or the romance gets in the way of the other.  Hot Protector takes on a popular romance trope of late, falling in love with your Stepbrother.  I'm not gonna lie, I'm still not a fan, but I did at least find it believable in this case.  Chase and Sophie never felt like they were related and the heat between them never really felt creepy.  If like me, you do not like this particular type of story, I still recommend the book.  If you like books with a mix of action and romance, this is definitely the book for you.
OVERALL RATING - 4.5 STARS!
MATURITY RATING - 18+ a little steamy
