Quick Book Review - The Millionaire's Secret by Susan Stevens and Jasmine Bowen

ABOUT

Their marriage was a sham to begin with. The 19 year old dancer who grew up in foster care, needed a green card to continue to dance in the country. He didn't believe in love, nor did he have any interest in a relationship. But when they fell into bed together, night after night, something about the innocent and beautiful dancer soul underneath her trashy attitude made him want to help her find her way.

A 10 year age difference and with an agreement that this would not turn into a relationship, he married her and she stayed. But now, 7 years later, having seen each other off and on, they find themselves at a cross roads. Do they sign divorce papers, and walk away, or is there something brewing underneath that is too real and too dangerous to ignore?

REVIEW

Not your ordinary romance novel, this was a quick read, but the authors did a great job of creating developed characters in a short amount of space, as well as introduce other characters with enough development to make me want to read more about them.   The subject matter is dark at times, but feels real and a less gooey than most other romances out there.  This may  not be for everyone, but it was refreshing for me.

I was able to get this book for free, however it is also included in a five book anthology currently priced at $2.99 on Amazon that I now have on my TBR list.
