Book Review - Fierce by Clarissa Wild

Review

Fist the good.  I found the story suspenseful with a satisfying conclusion.  The angst seemed realistic for  New Adult  fiction, but wasn’t too over the top.

Now the not so good.  I really didn’t like the writing style.  It didn’t seem to flow well at all, and sounded like a little kid recounting the events, not a young adult.  The characters didn’t feel distinct enough to me, and felt a little too old for supposedly being eighteen or nineteen.

There were also some plot holes that I will not get into too much detail on here so I do not spoil the ending, but I didn’t feel the timeline worked for Hunter’s older brother to be involved since everything seemed to have happened recently.

OVERALL RATING - 3.5 STARS
MATURITY RATING - 18+ a little steamy
