Book Review - The Millionaire Affair by Jessica Lemmon
ABOUT THE BOOK
Millionaire ad executive Landon Downey has a policy: no romantic relationships allowed. So when he's saddled with his six-year-old nephew for a week, he doesn't think twice about asking Kimber Reynolds to act as live-in nanny. What he doesn't expect is the undeniable attraction to the woman he hasn't seen since they were kids. And not only does she like him back-she suggests they work their way down a list of extracurricular activities in the bedroom. How can he resist?
Kimber wants to prove once and for all that she can love 'em and leave 'em with the best of them. All she has to do is keep her sixteen-year crush on Landon out of the equation. No problem . . . until she realizes she may not be the only one whose heart has gotten completely tangled up in their no-strings agreement.

The relationship between Landon and Kimber is well paced, if
not predictable. Most of us do not read
this genre for the surprise though, and Jessica Lemmon does a nice job writing
a story we’ve all ready before in a slightly different way. The characters are both likable and are easy
to relate with. I also really liked the
fact that the author calls out Landon’s sometimes too subtle sense of humor by
making it difficult at times for even Kimber to get it. It gave Lemmon a way to make sure the reader
caught Landon’s humor without having to overtly tell the reader.
This book is part of a series, but can easily be read as a
standalone. This was the first in the
series I have read, and I never felt like I was missing anything.
OVERALL RATING - 4 STARS!
MATURITY RATING - 18+ a little steamy
